Our Story
A little piece of the Dominican Republic
“The Flavor That Never Changes” — since 2000 in Paterson, NJ.
Since 2000
Costambar Restaurant is a little piece of the Dominican Republic in the heart of Paterson, New Jersey. Since 2000 we have served authentic Dominican flavor — home-style criollo cooking that tastes of our homeland, of family and of tradition.
Our Kitchen
Our kitchen celebrates the classics we all love: mofongo, sancocho, oxtail, bacalao, fried fish and much more, prepared with criollo seasoning and served in generous portions. True to our motto, “The Flavor That Never Changes”, we care for every dish so it tastes just as good today as it always has.
Our Family
Today, under owner Silcia Ventura, Costambar keeps that tradition and that warmth alive in every visit. Everyone who walks in feels like family. We're waiting for you at 366 E 18th St, Paterson, NJ, to share the true flavor of our homeland with you.
